Currently Executive Vice President at the New York office of Don Buchwald and Associates, Inc., a bi-coastal Talent Agency. Robyn Stecher has been beating the odds since she moved to New York in 1977.

Her 32 year career in the entertainment industry began when she convinced a long time TV producer and talent agent that without her he'd be lost. Her resume includes a 20 year association with her current firm and 4 years at ICM/NY. Her clients include television and film celebrities as well as many well known actors and voice over performers.

In 1991, soon after her son Daniel was born, Robyn was told he would be challenged with life-long neurological impairment. Determined that neither of them were going to suffer "damaged" lives, she embraced her son’s differences and capabilities. After her divorce, she was solely responsible for her 8 year old son's upbringing, a terrifying and liberating experience. They have shared an intrepid determination to meet challenges and surpass limitations, They are proof that "the only true disability is a broken spirit". In the fall of 2011, Daniel will attend college at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.

Since 2007 Robyn has been a member of The Friar's Club of New York City. She has been invited to participate in numerous workshops and presentations involving the entertainment industry. She is an active member of the ATA. She has been an advisory board member and for 15 years has volunteered to fulfill wishes for terminally ill adults, with The Dream Foundation, based in Santa Barbara California. She has also been integral to the fund raising efforts of The Lowell School in Queens, NY, a non public school for children with learning challenges . Her varied interests have included publishing her writing, cooking, ballroom dancing, enjoying the red wines of Italy and California. Never short on loving adventure, she has also been a world class traveler and scuba diver.

Robyn founded Artemis Rising Enterprises to cultivate an inspirational platform for the discovery of success, empowerment and sense of purpose in the unexpected experiences of everyday life. Her greatest fulfillment comes from inspiring others to live joyfully into their potential.

Robyn resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with her husband, Jim Weiss, her son Daniel, and their dog, Gracie.
